“My wife and I were lucky enough to attend a series of preparatory classes taught by Stacy, prior to adopted our two children from Russia in 2006 - and we believe our children are miles ahead developmentally because of it. Learning that adoptive children exhibit many of the same behaviors was eye-opening and seeing first-hand how the correct responses so quickly produce a positive outcome is nothing short of amazing. No one understands adoptive child behavior like Stacy and she continues to be a treasured resource for information and advice.” - Mark M. Ramsey, MN
“After bringing our children home five years ago - our family has finally reached a place of calm and healing. We would not be here without the always spot on exceptional advice and therapeutic parenting techniques shared with us by Stacy. “Table time” has brought structure to our lives and for the first time I see my children absorbing, understanding and remembering information by using a variety of sensory input in a relaxed environment.” - Julie M. Ramsey, MN
“My husband and I were exhausted and profoundly discouraged by our 12 year old adopted son’s behavior. Stacy came into our home, encouraged us by telling us what we were doing right, helped us to develop a tangible working plan and gave us back our hope. She helped us rescue our son from ‘living in survival’ to being able to trust us and begin to ‘feel safe’ with someone else in control. In less than a year, our home has been dramatically transformed and we are getting to really know our son (adopted 7 years ago) for the first time.” -Marci Y. - Eden Prairie, MN
"The Phase 1 Explore CELS have been a fun and educational sensory addition to our Home School Experience. We spend 3-4 weeks exploring each topic, such as the Ocean, Forest or Arctic/Tundra. My kids are able ot take the information they learn and apply it as they further explore the CELS throughout each unit. It's amazing to hear all of the details and facts they remember as they practice using the information in a non-threatening way. There is no "right" or "wrong" to this sort of learning! Even after spending lots of time on a unit, my kids still love to play with the CELS. Unlike workbooks, I have never once heard them say, "I don't want to do that!" J.M.
