Every day on Facebook I am told over and over again how alone so many families feel. They talk about how they are misunderstood and judged by those that don't live this life. Moms and Dads often question whether they are even the right parent for their child because the whole family is so miserable. To make everything worse these loving parents report how hard it is to find anyone who knows how to support them - in the moment, in the trenches! 

Boy, do I get it! Thirteen years ago no one even talked about it being hard much less was there anyone who knew how to help...we were on our own! We felt so alone!

What I know for sure is that feeling like there is no one that gets it is SO hard! Just like many others, we lost friendships, stayed clear of family events and stopped asking for help because professionals were so ill-equipped...they usually pointed the finger at us as the problem. It was hard to be a part of the school system, our church family and even our original support system because they weren't able to be there for us any longer. Eventually our entire family unit was being impacted, even our marriage began to feel the wear and tear!   

Being on this journey can be so lonely!

You really only get it if you have lived it! 

To make change I combined my past experience with troubled youth, my nursing background, never ending research, work with many adoptive and foster families with years of trial and error in my own home and have come out on the other side with a passion and ability to use a comprehensive view of a family's situation to help them create a plan that works! You see, you only really get this if you have lived it!

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES!  If you are unable to find an appointment time because you live in a time zone that is more than 4 hours different from Central Time, please email Stacy at [email protected] to make those arrangements! 

Our coaching session will take place via Skype or phone as you request. I will have your family's basic information so that we can get right to work! Our time will consist of identifying the hurdles you are encountering. Then making direct correlations between those hurdles and their roots. Finally, we will work to put in place the first steps of a healing plan, which will consist of new tools and techniques to help you be effective in the moment - where healing really happens! Each session will be focused on the family's needs at that time with the end result being a secure Safety Net that will bring calm and healing to your entire family.
